The End

IMG_4666

It’s not just the end of the year, I’m afraid it’s also the end of this blog. I feel bad for just blurting it out like this on New Year’s Eve but the end of the year feels like a good time for me to wrap things up.

I’ve been blogging for five and a half years and have LOVED it but all things do come to an end and for the blog the end is here and now. There's a combination of reasons for my decision and I just want to assure you that none of them are health related, I’m perfectly fine, I just want to do other things right now.

Speaking of other things, if you want a glimpse of what’s going on in my life I’ve opened an Instagram account so if you want to follow me there look for @benitalarsson.

Thank you all so much for following my blog for however long it’s been! I’ve enjoyed knowing you so much and I’m sure I’ll be staying in touch with quite a few of you!

Happy New Year!

Benita

I’ve been following for a few years. Your announcement seems both sad and beautiful. Thanks for all you’ve shared. Nothing but wonderful wishes for the upcoming year and many, many more for you, Wille and all those you love.

  • Tonia says:

Benita, I check your blog daily and you will certainly be missed! Your clean style and amazing taste have inspired me so much these past few years. Thank you for making my life just a little more stylish and organized. I wish you, Wille, Mini & Bonus great joy and luck with all your future endeavors!

  • Paula says:

🙁 I am so sad to hear that news, but sadly I felt it might be coming. Just know Benita that I have loved your blog for 5 years and in that time you have taught me so much and inspired me more than you will know. And although I am sad for all of us readers, I am also happy for you to have this new chapter and clean slate in which to start 2014.
I will so miss my visits to Chez Larsson.
    THANK YOU! Benita for everything.
Happy New Year and happy new beginnings.

Benita, your blog is one my favorites and I have enjoyed it immensely. Especially the posts on your cats-our Powder could be your Mini’s American cousin!
Thanks for sharing all of your great ideas and for being an inspiration. Best wishes to you and your family, (the kitties, too), and Happy New Year!

  • Sandy (USA) says:

How I’ll miss your photography Benita … Everything really. Although I’m sad to see Chez Larsson end here, I’m sure Benita Larsson’s journey is just starting! I’m happy for you! Best of luck to you and Wille in yours and his future endeavors. A huge hug and kiss to my man in tuxedo, Bonus and to pretty girl Mini. Keep them safe. Will miss seeing their pics. 🙁
Happy New Year! Blessings to the Larsson family.

  • Jill says:

Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! I have enjoyed it so much. I will follow you on Instagram ( I have to get my Mini and Bonus fix^..^). Happy New Year to you, Wille, Mini, and Bonus.

  • Julie says:

Very bummed for me, but happy for you to move on to other goals and adventures. So strange how it is we feel such attachments to people we’ll never meet irl. I’ve truly enjoyed my connection (one-side though it is) to your little corner of life on this beautiful planet. There was something about your aesthetic and way of life that was both calming and inspiring. Please know that you’ve touched people in more ways than you can possibly know. Have a wonderful life Ms. Larsson. I truly wish you, and Wille all the very best! Thank you!!
PS – If Instagram is all I can get, Instagram it is!

  • Ramona K says:

Benita, I think Julie above expresses my thoughts almost to the letter.
A little ray of sunshine in my daily routine disappears but the important thing is that you feel happy about how you organise your life.
I recently withdrew from Facebook since I felt I needed to back off from media “noise”. Instagram I know about but don´t use. If anyone could get me to use it, that would be you. We´ll see.
Thank you for the past years. I wish you and your family including Bonus and Mini all the best for 2014 and the years to come.

  • Lorna from Atlanta says:

A sad day for me as your influence comes to an end. It was so much fun to see you remake the new house and in 14 more days I will begin my own whole house remodel. Lorna from Atlanta will now be Lorna from Utah. Your asthetic will remain in my head. Thanks for 5 great years.

  • Janne says:

All the best for you and yours!

  • Zosia says:

Dear Benita, I am sad, because your blog inspired me, made me smile and was one of the small pleasures that life is all about. However, I understand that you want to move on to other things. I wish you and all your family (including the Handsome Bonus and the Charming Mini) all the best. See you on Instagram.
P.S. I hope you are not deleting your blog and that we will be able to use the craft or home improvement posts.

  • tinajo says:

Well, that´s a true bummer – but do take care!

  • Fleur says:

Every best wish Benita! I have really enjoyed your beautiful photos, posts about Mini and Bonus and hearing about the projects you undertake. I admire your energy to get things done and to also live with a simple, beautiful aesthetic. Your white uncluttered house is an inspiration!

  • Ingela says:

    Oh!
I’m sad to see you stop blogging, but I’m glad that you are able to make that decision for yourself. I’m also very relieved to hear that you are in good health.
I will check out your instagram account. I’ve always loved your photography.

I’ll miss your blog for sure ! I’ve always loved your pictures and style so I hope to be able to see some of that in a way or another (maybe a book ?). Good luck and see you around. PS : are you going to close it or will we be able to still look through the archives ?

  • Nini Tjäder says:

Totally understand. Sometimes one has to prioritize. Life is too short. You will be missed though and I hope you will keep the blog around even if it isn’t updated so we can still visit and enjoy its’ content. Have enjoyed very much during the last couple of years.

  • Ana says:

It’s a pitty as I’ve become used to follow you. But I wish you the best of luck. Who knows, one day, you’ll be back?
    Happy New Year!!

  • Susan says:

I hope all this blog love is blessing your heart! You will be missed. Sadly I don’t have instagram. All the best to you and your family. I will keep you in my feedly in case you change your mind 🙂
    thanks for your excellent blog.

  • Thank you all so much for understanding and for the well wishes!
The blog will stay up so you will be able to browse the archive whenever you want. I just won’t be updating anymore.

  • What can I say? Sad for me as it is, I somewhat knew this would happen some day or another. Life brings changes and it’s normal that one wants to change directions from time to time. I’ll come back here for inspiration once in a while if you decide not to delete it.
Now I want to thank you for all the good moments and smiles your blog gave me and for all thegood and bad things you’ve shared with us along these years and I want to tell you that you inspired me in many different ways. Your blog was the first thing I read in the morning and I’d checked it every, just in case 🙂
Now I’ve just began following you in Instagram and can’t wait to see your photos and the part of your days that you want to keep sharing.
All the best to you and your family, I wish 2014 comes loaded with lots of happy moments!
    Thank you!!!

  • Leonor says:

Thank you very much. Your clean aestetics have been inspiring and will be missed. All the best wishes in your new adventures 🙂

  • Anne C says:

Checking end enjoying your beautiful blog has been the very first thing I did for so, so many mornings (two years, since a harsh separation). • Mal says:

I’m so sorry you’re going, but can see that it has been a huge commitment for you. It’s been lovely to see your style and hard work paying off, and your Wille grow into a young man. Your Mini and Bonus must be famous amongst cat lovers in many countries now. I’ve really enjoyed the glimpses into Swedish life, as well as the decorating and organising tips, which have helped me along with many others.
Very glad you told us, rather than just disappearing, it’s good to know that all is well for you, and I hope you enjoy your future projects.
    Good luck for 2014, Mal

  • Márcia says:

  • Leslie says:

I’ll miss you Benita but I too had a “feeling” this was coming sooner than later. But Wille is older and you are at a point in your life where you need to do what you want to do. I’m sure not having a blog will give you more time for yourself. Best of luck… I’ll have to find another blog to start my day! Best wishes for you, Wille, Mini and Bonus in 2014 and beyond!

  • Betty says:

Oh, God… I am quite sad actually. But as we say in French “Toutes les bonnes choses ont une fin” (well I guess it is a universal quote).
THANK YOU Benita for all that you brought to me throughout those years. That was always nice to come and visit your blog, I will miss your tips, your news and your beautiful photos. You inspired me in my every day life. You are a great reference to me.
I will not be able to follow you on instagram but maybe on Pinterest?
Anyway I wish you all the best for 2014 and after, for you and Wille and your adorable Mini and Bonus.

Thanks for all the great moments–the detailed project posts, the photos, especially of Wille and the dear cats, the flowers in your house and yard. Your audience will miss you!!!

  • Heather Watts says:

Benita, you have been a part of my life since college, and inspired me through my first apartment, my first design job, my first (and second) pet, my wedding, my first house, and now, as a newlywed, we say goodbye. Thank you for being the silent partner in my sense of style, my minimalist attitude, and my productivity for all of these years. Best wishes to you, Wills, and the cats. Be well!

Önskar dig allt gott i fortsättningen. Lycka till!!

  • Karen says:

Benita–Thank you for sharing all of your fun and clever ideas over the years. I have not enjoyed or been inspired by any other blogger as much as you. Good luck with all of your new endeavors. As some said before, it was expected to happen. Anyway – THANK YOU for all the inspiration through all these years (yours was one of the very first blogs I’ve stumbled upon a very long time ago). Designwise I’ve learned so much from you!

I have enjoyed your blog so much. I could tell projects were winding down, but I always hoped it was just a phase. I wish you the best of luck in your future creative outlets!

  • MelD says:

Like everyone else I will miss my almost daily fix here at what is in my view pretty much the best blog on my list… but I do understand.
It seems quite a lot of my favourites are fading away and actually, I appreciate it that you are clearly ending things and I won’t be wasting time checking to see if there’s anything new!!
I do hope you leave your archives up, though – I have often gone back to look at something.
A very Happy New Year, to all your loved ones, too, and all the best for the future!

  • Malena says:

Will most definitely miss your blog – but wishing you many blessings in 2014 and beyond.

  • Gemma says:

Best wishes, Benita! Thanks for all of the inspiration over the years!

  • Julia says:

Thank you for these 5+ years, Benita. Thank you so much. I understand you might be tired, or jaded (people do steal your ideas, don’t they, and I don’t think you’ve ever seen a penny for all your hard work photographing, writing and publishing), but I’m selfish and sadness is my main feeling right now.
I’ve been meaning to say this before but I haven’t: your blog is the only internet corner that inspires me to get up and tidy my home. I’m a very untidy person, but your blog just makes tidiness and cleanness as worth my time.
I’m glad to hear the blog will be still up… it’s a treasure trove of ideas and thoughts. And I’m very happy for you, that health is not a concern and that there are new things to do outside internet. Thanks again for all the hours you’ve put into creating this wonderful website, and best wishes for your new endeavors!

  • Donna says:

    Benita,
I am so sad to see your blog coming to an end, but hopeful for new beginnings for you. I hope you will keep the archives up for awhile, as I find your photography and organizational ideas so inspiring.
Several years ago you and I did a swap where I sent you a magazine and you sent along a pour spout that could be screwed onto a water bottle. Every time I water my plants I think of you, and will continue to do so.
I will be sure to follow you on instagram. All of the best of luck!

  • Franziska says:

So sorry to read that (and I’m really sad). I found your blog years ago and kept coming back here. I am amazed about your organizing and the diy skills. I love the photography and the style of your home. I loved to see what you come up with next. I’m sure I’ll come back here often. I just enjoy reading your blog and drawing inspiration from it (aka you). I already follow you on instagram.
I hope to see there what you do or create or organize.
Thank you for the time you spent writing this blog. Thank you.
I hope you will enjoy what life has planned for you and for Wille it’s the same. Have fun! I’m sure you will.
    See you!

  • qlka says:

    Oh no, no, no!
Maybe just one post a week? Please….

  • Franziska says:

Oh. I forgot to mention that I often referred to your blog when talking to others about diy and organizing. So just that you know. Talk about inspiration.
P.S.: if you ever think about reactivating this blog: I won’t mind… Selfish, I know…

  • Beatrice says:

    Benita,
When I started reading your blog 3+ years ago I knew I liked clean styles and lots of white, but not what I would like to do in my own home. Thank you for helping guide me through the process of understanding my own style and I will sadly miss one of the few blogs that meets my love of white and good photography. Thank you for all of your hard work and the love you have shown to all of us. I wish you luck! Would you consider updating your sidebar with blogs similar to your own? Or perhaps some friends here in the comment section can help find me some new places to visit.
    Best wishes!

  • Susan says:

I echo so many comments here…
And add, that you are my “aspirational benchmark” for creating an organized and beautiful home. Thanks to you, I have a candle drawer (actually USE my candles) and I am starting a project 52.

So many comments and good wishes! Good for you for doing what’s right for you. I am glad the archives will be there to peruse. You have inspired me to make improvements in my space by myself after years of depending on a husband and hired help. You also enabled me to make the leap from antique furniture to Ikea!! I let go of all that heavy baggage laden stuff and my life is clean and uncluttered and all the drawers slide gracefully- ha ha!!!
Thanks, Benita, for all your time and ideas. All the best to you, Willie and the kitties.

  • Nooooooooo! I want to tell you how much of a connection I have with your blog, Benita. In August 2012, I got a new job. Completely isolated and devoid of anything to do, I stumbled upon your blog and read it from top to bottom. I almost feel like I’m losing a best friend! Sounds weird, I know. You also inspired me to start my own blog, http://www.produceonparade.com
I wish all the best to you and Willy and the kitties. Good luck with your new endeavors, we all know you’ll be fabulous!

My first reaction is to throw myself down on the floor, kick my feet and scream Noooooooo! I hate change. Sigh. I’ll miss the ever evolving rooms in your house. I’ll miss watching your gardens grow. I’ll miss watching you become a cook and a baker. I was looking forward to seeing you in that little city apartment you’ve wanted. Sigh. I’ll try to figure out the Instagram thing, just so I’ll know you are well and still creating. But, first I have to go have my little tantrum. 🙂

  • Connie says:

Thank you, Benita! Just know that I’ve enjoyed your blog immensely for a variety of reasons, but above all, you were living proof for my secretly held conviction that suffering from a little OCD ain’t such a bad affliction, after all! 😉 All the best to you (and to Wille and the cats), whatever you do.

    Hi Benita,
I began to follow your blog daily about four years ago, when I adopted a 17 month old boy. Every morning I sat with my tea before he woke up, and enjoyed a glimpse of order, calm and beauty — with no plastic toys in sight! What a pleasure your blog has been. Please do not take it down, because I too love to check back on prior posts. And I hope you will someday write a book. All the best to you!

Thanks Benita, for many happy early morning Blog reads here in the suburbs of Boston. I remember finding your blog around 4 years ago – soon after moving to my current home. I get up before the rest of the house to have some time to myself (two boys, two cats and a dog). I always enjoyed reading your blog with my cup of coffee, often with the sun just coming up.
I was lucky enough to visit Stockholm for work in the fall, and felt that I “knew” it a bit as a result of you!
My best wishes for a happy and healthy 2014 – Thanks you!

Benita my initial reaction was Oh no! This can’t be true. But enough selfishness, you have been so generous for all these years, you certainly deserve to pursue other endeavors. Your fans have already expressed everything I feel and said it much better than I could so Good Luck, Farewell, and most of all Thank you for hours of pure pleasure spent reading your blog. My best to Wille and best of luck to him in his future undertakings. As to these two adorable fur muffins, I will miss them very much. Give them an extra kiss and pet for me please.

  • Sandra says:

I just discovered you this past year and have thoroughly enjoyed your design aethestic, your love of organization, and all things white. All the best to you and yours. A big THANK YOU.

  • Peggy says:

    My Dear Benita,
I join with your other readers in saying that yours is/was the first blog on my mornings at my computer; lately the number of blogs has been reduced to three. You’ve never failed to inspire, encourage, or cue me into action. Needless to say, a LOT has been done at my house–a number of books have been ordered and read, recommended products ordered and successfully incorporated into our household, and recipes have been tried and placed into my recipe file. I’ve loved your blog for the NEARLY 5 1/2 years that I’ve followed it. That’s a lot of interaction initiated by you! And I can’t thank you enough for all of it.
I’m sad but very pleased that you are moving on with your life. I understand that with Willy’s recent launch, you are ready to move into that apartment in the city that you spoke of, travel, maybe find a place in Williamsburg, N.Y., and spread your wings on your flight into the wild blue yonder that is your future life. To that, I say, God speed, Benita! And thank you from the bottom of our collective hearts for all that you’ve done for us! We couldn’t/wouldn’t have done it without you, kiddo!
    Much love and affection,
    Peggy in San Diego, California

  • Sona Jacob says:

Kiitos, thank you for your wonderful blog, I have thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I’m sorry that it has to end here, but understand it has been a big commitment for you over the last 5 years.

  • Stacey says:

Benita, Happy New Year! Thank you for al the effort, energy and good spirit you put on your blog. I learned a ton of useful things on improving my home, and I always viewed your blog like a good book on home decoration (I still hope you’ll publish a book one day!), though to be honest Mini and Bonus were always fun to watch 🙂 I wish you knew how much I enjoyed reading your articles all these years, usually with a nice cup of coffee beside me, taking a short break from the chaos around me. Even though I’m sad “Chez Larsson” ends here I’m happy for you because you explore new interests. That’s what life is about and what better new year resolution is there that that? I sincerely hope to see you again in the future in a new blog project! Stacey (from Greece)

Thanks a lot again and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  • gail says:

Benita, I want to thank you so much for the generosity with which you’ve shared so much of your life! You gave me such an enjoyable window to see both into and out of another woman’s point of view, home, country, cats, parenting, decorating–all of it! I’m only a little sad, though, because whenever someone makes a big decision to nurture themselves differently, it’s a cause for celebration!

  • Dagmag (Isabel) says:

Thank you Benita! I’ve been with you almost all of these 5 and a half years. When my babies were born, and I found myself in “baby jail” nursing and keeping the crazy sleep/awake schedule, your blog was an oasis of restful and organized calm! I enjoy following you on Pinterest now and will continue to do so. Happiness to you and Wille who we’ve seen grow up before our eyes. Thank you for sharing so much!

  • Elisabeth says:

    Dear Benita,
The flowers and the caption reminded me of an old post of yours and I believe I immediately sensed what was coming. It made me feel truly sad – which in turn made me feel strange, never having met you in real life and not really knowing you in person (if you know what I mean).
What I really want to say though is THANK YOU so much for all the energy, creativity, love and work you have put into your posts and photos. I have learned a lot from you and about you, about Sweden. I will miss my regular dose of all you Larssons, kitties included. Looking at your beautiful photos (love all the greens and whites and the clear, astehetic arrangements ) and reading about your days usually brought a smile to my face, no matter what.
Thank you again and all the best for 2014. I will miss you!

  • Sandra Willians says:

    Benita,

I’m in NY for the holidays and couldn’t wait to follow your and Willies footsteps from when you were here this year! Love to you both… You will be missed!

  • Trish says:

Sad to hear that Benita – I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog, I must have been reading for almost 5 years so I was surprised to learn you’d only been at it for 5 1/2. I can think of two previous posts where I thought the title meant the end of the blog, so when I first saw this one I thought nothing of it – but alas, I can understand why you might want to move on.
Thank you for all the words and photographs, hint and tips and amusement you’ve given me over the years! You’ve been an inspiration in more ways than I think you can realise (I won’t embarrass us both by elaborating). I will be back to go through your archive again in the future – as an uncontrollably untidy person it will do me no end of good!
Best wishes for 2014 and beyond to you, Wille, Mini and Bonus.
    xoxo

  • Patricia says:

• Petra says:

Dear Benita, only some weeks ago I stumbled upon your blog – and was hooked immediately. I couldn’t stop reading and devoured your descriptions of organizing, decluttering, streamlining… And those beautiful photos, and all in white!
You were sent from heaven because due to a lengthy illness in the past two years I could not summon the energy to do or change anything around my apartment, but now my spirits were reawakend and I feel able to tackle the renovation of my kitchen which has long been overdue. Your shining white kitchen will serve as a model (I hope you don’t mind). My bathroom, by the way, was redone some years ago – completely in white.
I can’t thank you enough for being such an inspiration and for bringing on new energies in me. Although I totally understand your reasons for closing the blog and moving on I am really sad but the entries will remain and I will consult them very often I am sure.
Benita, all the best for you, Wille and the adorable kittens, Petra from Germany
P.S.: I felt so enthusiastic about the “Elljusstake Siluett” that I immediately tried to get it, but it’s no longer on the Åhlėns website and I could not find it via Google either. Do you know any source where to get it? Thank you.

  • Kathleen says:

Oh Benita, we will miss you. Even when you told us you would not be blogging daily, I still checked daily.
We saw Willie grow up, we all held you in our thoughts during your divorce from Martin, then applauded your friendship with him and his new partner. We have laughed and loved Bonus and Mini. And, marveled at the beautiful transformation of your home(s). Thank you for sharing your life, your ideas, and your vision with us for all of these years. I wish you the very best. Dear Benita, thank you for everything! Your lovely cat drawing
is hanging on our wall very low just where the cat’s bowls are so we think
of your special family of four very often!
I will miss your posts a lot! Until now i didn’t want to open an istagram
account, since I am already addicted to pinterest and wanted
to avoid another addiction. But if this is the only way to get
some news from you, Istagram will it be.
I wish you luck, health and joy for the time that comes.

  • Elisabeth Cunha says:

    Dear Benita
It is certainly bad news to hear you are not writing anymore… I discoverded your blog one year ago and I always found it wonderful. I live very far from you and the way you shared your life was like hearing from a friend far away. I really will miss your posts but I want to thank you for all you showed me. My family always begged me to write to you, because I often told them things about you, your son and pets, about the weather, the little things (or big) you crafted and the beauty of your country. I wish you and your beloved all the best.
Please tell if you start another blog!!!!
    Thank you and good luck!
    Elisabeth
btw I live in Brasil…. Tell me did you have a white Christmas?

  • Zeza says:

When last year I discovered this blog, I read all of the first post and continued to follow. You are my inspiration for many things in life.
Often my day started with a morning cup of coffee and your blog. That I will miss. 🙁
I wish you much love, health and happiness in your future life adventures!

I’ll miss your blog! I only discovered it a few months ago but I really enjoyed it and I regularly browse the archive to find inspiration. Your home is beautiful and I love your style! Thinking of a little make-over in white and gray for my bedroom… 🙂

Wishes you success in all your future endeavours. You will be missed as you are one of my regulars, but I totally understand and respect your choice. (I don’t have Instagram). Hope you will not delete your blog as I use it to help with cleaning, organization, crafts, diys, etc.

  • L says:

Happy New Year to you and your family, for 2014 and beyond – yours was one of the first blogs I found, and though I am unbearably untidy (compared with you) there are corners and cupboards and corrals at my house inspired by you. It will be strange not to see the seasons turning in Sweden through your photographs and prose. Blogging is a generous gift to your readers but must be onerous on the blogger, particularly for a perfectionist! Enjoy the next chapter…

  • Etta says:

I am so so sad, but will now become an instagram follower. You have been a great inspiration to me, my Swedish Martha Stewart!

  • Lori in OR says:

It feels like the end of an era for me! Yours was the first blog I ever followed. Your clean white aesthetic has been such a balm to me, as my own surroundings have been chaotic. I’ll very much miss the glimpse into everyday Swedish life and the adventures of the four of you.
That said, we all want what’s best for you, and I am sure there is an amazing sense of relief/release at being done with the responsibility of the blog (and at being able to live your life, not just record it). Best of luck and thank you for everything!

  • Kirsten says:

Benita, it’s been so lovely reading your blog – thank you for sharing! I’ve been reading since I moved in with my boyfriend looking for handy home DIY projects – and your blog has been so enjoyable to read. You will be missed.

  • Loretta says:

Thank you, Benita, for your lovely blog. I have been a loyal reader for about 4 years and am another of your regular readers who went to your blog first thing in the morning. Thank you for the stream of inspiration you provided with your fearless exploits in home renovation, beautiful photography, creative decorating, explorations in baking, and your lovely writings on life in Sweden. I have enjoyed reading your blog immensely (it has been my favorite) and you have inspired me in so many ways with your accomplishments, sense of order, and modern, Scandinavian aesthetic.
I have a son the same age as Wille and have enjoyed seeing Wille grow up over the years. I particularly enjoyed your post on his graduation with the details on Swedish customs, and your trip to NYC. I will miss you and your blog with its daily dose of inspiration, but am glad that I can return and re-read past posts (thank you for keeping it up). I’m truly sad that this is the end, but I fully understand the level of commitment you expended over the years – and your desire to move on to other things in the new year.
I wish you and your family the very best for 2014, and in all your future adventures and creative endeavors!
    With much affection
    Loretta in Denver, Colorado

  • Mari says:

Oh no!! I am so so so so so going to miss your posts, your skills and the sneakpeeks in your life.
I’ve been silently following you for a couple of years now.. Ok that sounds really stalky and creepy 😀
I meant your blog of course. I stumbled in when I was looking for organizing tips, stumbled upon a post on reorganizing the kitchen cupboards and I’ve kept on reading ever since.
Benita, I love your clever organizing tricks. I love your clean yet homely style. I love that I am not the only person in the world who makes a choice in what to buy based on the fact that it comes in white.
I wish you and Wille all the best.
    Love,
    Mari
Ps please don’t erase your blogposts. I’m reorganizing my study next month and I’ll be lost without your tips! 😉

Benita, ever since I found your blog through Apartment Therapy almost five years ago, I have visited every morning. Chez Larsson was my favorite blog. You have a clean, organized style that, at the same time, is warm and livable. Thank you so much for sharing during these five years. You are amazing!

  • Erin @The says:

    Benita,
I have learned so much from you and turn to you for inspiration and instruction. I adore your work ethic, organization, and aesthetic. Thank you for sharing these last five years with us. We recently sold our house and made an $80,000 (US) profit. I am convinced one of the reasons we did so well is because I applied design principles I learned from you when fixing up the house. I wish you peace and joy in all your ventures. I will be following you on instagram. And thank you for leaving the blog up! I will definitely be coming back to the space to access the archives.
    XOXO,

  • JEANNEM says:
