Martin and Wille made it back safely from the airport, albeit very late.
Aby over at Simplify 101 wrote a post the other day on her blog Creative Organizing about unusual and useful travel souvenirs. She buys fun and useful containers on her travels and asked whether others buy similar souvernirs. I do! I get my loot in the cleaning isles of foreign super markets.
I asked Wille and Martin to bring me something good from Greece and they delivered! Look at this cute broom for the deck. Hot pink and apple green will surely make sweeping the pine needles off more of a pleasure.
To hang it "invisibly" I simply drilled a hole half way into the stick and hammered a nail into the side of the house and slid the stick onto the nail. Magic!

Yup - I love to bring back fancy soap. It even helps with the smelly laundry in the suitcase.

I a so glad you explained! I stopped at the first photograph for a long time, trying to see how you had suspended the broom! :)

Thanks for the mention! I love that broom and also subscribe to the theory that fun and pretty tools make cleaning and other housework all the better! -- Aby

Awesome idea -- about drilling a hole only 1/2 way in the broom.
