While we oddly enough are on the topic of "things we put on our feet" I might as well continue with the socks. Alex asked if I could tell how I organize them. Sure I can!
I'm telling you right now that these photos will be boring. We are a family of grey, navy and black socks with some white "steps" added in the mix and that's it. I used to buy colored ones for Wille but now he too has requested navy at the most colorful.
Martin is not the most organized person, and that's putting it nicely. He does one thing though that is really amazing. When he takes his socks off in the evening the bunches them up in pairs by folding the top bit over before tossing them in the laundry hamper! Even I don't do that!
It's perfect though, because they stay together in the machine and are so easy to hang afterwards. Almost no more searching for pairs, except for mine... I then take them apart and hang them by the top in pairs. They do get clean I feel I should add even though I can see some white stuff on Willes navy sock. Hmmm.
This is where mine end up. Top drawer in a chest of drawers. "Steps" in one ice cream container, nylon knee socks (I promise I don't wear them with short skirts) in another and cotton and wollen ankle socks and knee socks in the bigger compartment.
Like I said, exciting photos. Especially the dirty sock one. I doubt that one will end up on Explore.
