Omg! That sounded very pretentious. It's just that I keep getting that question and request for my time management recipe...
To be honest with you I wouldn't want you to "do it all". I wish I didn't do it all, all the time. I wish I could just let some things go and not be bothered about them. I wish I didn't come up with all those projects all the time. I wish I could just once in a while pass a pile of stuff on the floor and not care. Really!
I'm just that kind of person who sets my mind on something and then follows through. Which is a good thing I guess. The flip side is that there is not enough time to fit everything in so I'm constantly feeling behind. But because I want to get things done I do loads of laundry, tidy up, do dishes, sweep floors, dust and all those everyday household chores super early in the morning before going to work or way too late at night, after work, dinner, blogging, homework and projects and don't because of it get enough sleep. I've said it before, it's not all good :)
This is why I'm so super happy about my future Friday's off! I plan to get my main household chores done little by little after work Mondays through Thursdays and then devote Fridays to my projects. They will spill into the weekends I'm sure but I will be ahead and more relaxed by then.
I don't know if this explains anything. I guess it just shows that I'm not much different from the rest of you. It's just that we deal with our lack of time in different ways and I'm not at all sure that my way is any better than yours. I do know that I've made the right decision to cut down on my office work though. It's probably what will keep me sane.
