First of all, thank you all so much for the incredible comments on yesterday's post! I really appreciate it and will consider everything you've suggested when writing my book proposal.
Today will be a quick post because Wille has a huge amount of homework (English, German and maths) and Martin needs to work late which leaves me to help him out. I have no problem with the languages but maths never was and still is not my best subject... Wille usually ends up explaining to me...
With our Middagsfrid deliveries we get the spices we need for the week's recipes. By now you probably know I'm no fan of brand labels and ugly packaging so I pour the spices into these prettier glass jars with metal lids. I love them because they are so simple and I know I can get more of the same if needed. I use my labeler to print out clear labels and stick them to the jars.
Another favourite for our spices is the lazy susan on the bottom shelf of the kitchen pantry. I got it for about two dollars in Hong Kong a few years ago and have since gone back to that particular Japanese home store to get some more (I want one for the fridge) but they don't seem to carry them any longer :( I will go back there later on this month so I'll have another look.
The most often used spices are in the spice rack above the stove.
That's all I have time for today. See you tomorrow!
