Q: So what do you do when the previous owners of the house you bought renovate the bathroom in their choice of decor six months before you move in?
A: You close your eyes everytime you go in there and wish for a leak so the whole thing needs redoing and the insurance covers it.
Q: So what do you do when the plumber they hire to do the job doesn't bother doing a neat one and if the previous owners don't care? After all it's just the basement.
A: You rummage in the garage, build a little thingy, staple on some fabric and hide the mess and never look behind there until it's time to repaint.
Can you believe the sloppy job that plumber in our house did? All the pipes from the bathroom are exposed in the ugliest way for the world to see in the laundry room leading into the boatroom next door. I had almost forgotten what it looked like behind there but was rudely reminded during my weekend painting session.
