First of all thank you all so much for the well wishes for Mini's recovery and also for the Birthday wishes for Wille. You guys are the best!
Mini update: Mini is still in intensive care and we are eagerly waiting to hear from her vet. The vet clinic have a policy that they call you and not you them for updates. I can totally understand that they need to focus on the animals instead of answering phone calls from worried pet owners but the wait is so nerve wracking. I'll keep you posted!
EDIT: The vet just called. Mini has a jaw injury and will have surgery on Thursday. They can' t determine the extent of the injury until she is under the heavy sedation but there is no neurological damage. We can't visit until she gets to go home Friday earliest. Poor baby... we miss her so much.
Life does go on so in todays post I'll show you a fun idea for giving home made gift cards. I originally saw the idea (or at least a similar one) in a Martha Stewart Living issue many years ago and adapted it.
Wille is getting trickier and trickier to buy gifts for as he's getting older. No more toys, not yet an interest in clothing.
This year he put a guitar, some DVD's, a book and some X-Box downloads on his wish list. The downloads are where the gift cards come in. Oh, and those coins are chocolate 5 kronor's...
I made the wallet out of card stock, stitching it on my sewing machine and Martin helped making the gift cards on his computer and then I added some letter stickers.
