Is there such a thing as a male craft corner? Or should it be referred to as a work shop? Or in this case Mythbuster wanna-be nook? Anyways, Martin and Wille have all these projects going on and they were all over the place so I decided it was time for a bit of organizing.
Because these projects are more of the tinkering kind and not so much carpentry involved we moved that stuff out of the garange and storage room and made some space in the boatroom.
A new Helmer drawer unit from IKEA now holds art supplies as well as small tools like screw drivers and mini wrenches. The basket next to holds the larger art papers, canvases etc and allows for that stuff to be carried into another room if wanted.
Two under bed rolling storage boxes are filled with all the things that I've prevoiusly wanted to toss because they've been all over.
Now all the little plastic do-dads are neatly organized by color (yes, I'm to be blamed for that) in candy containers. That blue thing is a toy about to be explored and stripped for parts.
Speaking of stripping for parts, the other under bed box is filled with ice cream tubs and take out containers and they in turn are filled with the remains of some our our broken house hold appliances. There's some pretty cool parts in there, I have to admit (now that they are all organized).
Who knows what awesome art and cool projects will come out of this. I'm just pleased it's all neatly stashed away until it happens.
