Martin cooked Boeuf Bourguignon, or as Aby and I like to call it; Beef B.
Your breakfast is served, Master William! I like to prepare Wille's breakfast while I'm making my own. I wake him when I leave for work at 6.30 and all he has to do is to pour tea, make the sandwich and get yoghurt. Martin rarely eats breakfast but I want to make sure Wille's full when he goes to school.
As you've probably noticed Mini likes to participate. In ALL activities. I so love her for that although she can really be a pain in the butt sometimes. Sweetie!
Don't know if you read that comment yesterday but it said This is totally off the subject but I just read about this and since you are the only person from Sweden that I know.... Do you do partake in lördagsgodis? I found it very interesting. Thanks!
Lördagsgodis translates into Saturday Sweets. Over here it's very common for kids to eat sweets only once a week, on Saturdays. I remember this from when I was a little girl in the 70's but apparently it goes way back to the 50's and was part of a campaign to prevent cavities. It was apparently a successful campaign because it's still the norm over here.
My own parents must have been rebels (actually it was probably the fact they were not Swedish...) because I was allowed sweets on weekdays too and I as a parent have never been strict with Wille either.
I honestly don't believe in these types of rules because I think they just make the cravings for sweets stronger and come Saturday you stuff yourself. Some of Wille's friends (and mine too back in the days) went on and on about sweets all week long where as Wille was sort of indifferent. Because he was allowed them when he wanted they were not that exciting. And he didn't and doesn't eat them more than probably once a week anyway but that day may not be a Saturday. Oooh, we're such a rebellious family, aren't we?
