On Thursday I had my long awaited haircut. I originally had an appointment the Monday before last when I couldn't get to work because of the weather. The salon I go to is close to the office so I obviously couldn't get there either. Needless to say I was getting desperate. Having short hair is a blessing in many ways except for the fact that when you need to go you REALLY need to go.
Anyway, since quite a few of you wanted to see what my do looks like more up close check me out twirling for you!

Benita, I LOVE IT!

Love it, really cute! :)
Had another question as well. I have noticed you are really good at different kinds of layouts ;) So i just wonder if you could help me out? I have an assignement where I should make a collage of pictures with the theme "Childhood memories". I have no idea how i'm going to do this but the assignement is to make a collage of pictures that captures the childhood memories and makes you think about it and wonder if you ever can get that wonderfull time back!? Do you have any ideas for me? I would realy appreciate it! Thanks :D

I use software such as Photoshop and Corel Draw for my collages of items online. I believe the best collages are made by cutting with a scissor and pasting with glue though... Simply because you get that 3D feel to them with the layers and shadows and you can add 3D items like fabric swatches, candy wrappers, a bobby pin etc.
I guess it depends on if the assignement is to do it online or IRL. You can also create wonderful moodboards and collages IRL and then photograph them.

It was just as lovely as I thought! Makes me want to cut mine again (which I have grown for two years now)... Thank you for sharing it :)
Snowy (yes, again, a lot) greetings from Finland again!
Yours,
Mia

I´m reading your blog every day and I didn't like at all when you changed the layout on the page. Now I love it! I think you look great in your haircut.

I think the haircut is very becoming! And I know what you mean about needing a haircut "right now!" I had very short hair for years, and it would be fine one day, and the very next day I would be absolutely desperate for a trim.
For about ten months now I have been "growing it out" and can now tie it back. I'm enjoying the length most of the time, but at least one day each week I think it is time to go back to very, very short. Hair. Why is it so important? I don't know...but it IS! :)

Love it! I have short hair too and because it grows so fast I need a haircut every 3-4 weeks. Sometimes I can get by with 5 weeks.

OH! The new do is so awesome. I have been coveting that short cut and you wear it so well.

The new do looks great! I seem to also be getting shorter with each trip to the beloved hairdresser. Although I still don't get there enough! Thanks for the great blog, you have motivated me to organise each aspect of my life and house one day at a time. Slowly but surely I'll get there!
