Sent my mom a little Easter gift and received a text message in return. A TEXT MESSAGE! My mom is 80 and just got her first cell phone!
Not a whole lot of Easter decorations up aside from the Easter tree and egg art but I'm adding some daffodils on the front steps after cleaning them (the steps, not the daffs) today.
Did some magazine tearing while watching TV. The last of my Domino's went into recycling as well as some other 2008 issues. My mag pile is really small at the mo, not just from the tearing but there are very few great magazines around if you ask me.
Ms Snooze. I wish I could take naps like that. I never nap. I wake up early and fall asleep fairly immediately after going to bed. This past week I've been so tired though as our daylight savings started on Sunday. I can really feel the getting up at four instead of five. Or was it the other way around? This confuses me ever time. I know of the "spring forward, fall back" thing but am I the only one who's still confused?
Can you believe it? I think spring has finally sprung! There's still snow here and there but look, look, my favorites!
Ok, I have one more decoration up. This guy is sitting in the kitchen window. He's my conveniently flat packed Easter dude and I'm drafting him to hide the eggs this year as it's really muddy outside.
Ha! I've been dying to do this (which I saw in Martha Stewart Living) for years but I kept forgetting. Yesterday as I was having breakfast I suddenly remembered.
It was a great April fool's prank as I was already at work when victim #1, Wille, had some in his tea and an hour later victim #2, Martin, fell into the same trap. Martin actually considered the possibility of a terrorist attack on Arla before blaming Wille.Hehe... I have to admit I myself was victim #3 because I totally forgot when I came home and made a cup of coffee. Had to stage this photo after because the coffee looked absolutely vile, like the mud in the back yard.
Were you fooled at all yesterday? Gimme some good ideas for next year! Don't worry, the male part of our family is a forgetful bunch, I'll so get away with it!
