So on Saturday we had Anne and her daughter over for dinner. I loved seeing them both so much. We see each other way too seldomly. Need to change that! Pronto!
Martin prepared the food. Tapas to begin with. It's been a while, we used to eat it often but I guess during the colder season we kind of forget about it.
Both Anne and I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and Anne's daughter on top of the awful IBS can't have ANY milk protein or she'll get really really sick. Martin on the other hand is on a no carb diet. Wille can eat anything, lucky boy!
We had some snacks first, salted cashews and "Swedish country chips". Love the list of ingredients on them: Potatoes, oil, salt. No E's, no milk proteins, no artificial stuff, nothing, just plain old spuds.
Due to our weird diets there were two versions of the main dish, chicken filets in blankets. One with oat "cream" for the IBS-ers and one with real cream for the no carber and eat-aller. On the side the IBS team and Wille had rice and Martin some ratatouille.
All in all a lovely evening and I can't wait to see them again soon!
Btw, for those of you who read Swedish, Anne tells our story, how we met and became friends, on her blog. I promise I'll write the English version soon, it's pretty good :)
