I work from home, most of my hobbies involve being home... and have a VERY hard time getting to the "house cleaning" point of my list...

Rebecca

My least favourite task is vacuuming. My dyson is so heavy and it's always a nightmare getting it out of the cupboard, plus my kitty is terrified of it, so I have lots of excuses to avoid vacuuming..

Jen

I always think I have to have every last bit of house cleaning done before I can start on anything "extra". And then I have a twisted sense of priority when it comes to "extras" - like I have to get rid of the NOT FUN things on my list (sewing on buttons, some plaster repair, paint touch-ups, washing windows....) before I get near the "hobby" stuff. Which basically means I NEVER get around to scrapbooking or sewing or anything for ME. I hardly ever even turn the TV on, and I only read (which I love to do) before bed - and am so tired I read maybe two pages before I fall asleep.

I have small kids so maybe I shouldn't expect more? But it is wearing me out, and I feel like the longer my to-do lists get, the less I actually get done!!

Annabelle

The thing I hate the most is (agh!!!) ... ironing shirts! I leave it until the ironing overflows the huge basket housing it (usually around twenty five shirts) and then ... I stuff them all in a sack and take them to the laundry, where they wash it all again and iron it for me and hang it on wire hangers. I then take it home, take the laundry labels off and hang it back on my own hangers and put it in my husbands/sons wardrobes. They are none the wiser and thank me profusely for my ironing efforts and say what a busy day I must have had; and I am extremely happy that I have not had to do the ironing myself ... and all is well in the household until the next time. This ruse has continued through two husbands and four sons and too, too, too many shirts ... and I don't aim to change it now!!

Another Jen

I'm similar to the other Jen - I'm a stay-at-home wife who feels "guilty" if I do pleasurable things during the day. I also love to read but rarely do. There's no excuse not to as technically I have the time but there's always something that can be done around the house. I also need to push myself to go out to the hairdresser, etc which sounds ridiculous as I write it. I think I need to limit the time I have the computer on as there's always more paperwork, updating, etc I can find to do.

Jessica

Riktigt irriterande.

Tarsila

Hello Benita!

Thanks for giving us this opportunity of winning a lovely and practical prize!

I have a lot of tasks on my to-do lists (yeah, you read it right, I've got a few of them) and I have to say that the one thing I've been putting off (and it isn't because I don't like it, but simply because I don't seem to have time to do it) is to get my online illustration portfolio going. I've got a few illustrations, but I'd like to make more of them so that they would fit into a very coherent portfolio, but again, this task should take a lot of time I end up not doing it. I'm truly not happy about it and it actually makes me sad the fact I'm not able to put my best out there to showcase to the world!

Take care!

Sabine SR

I have a huge to-do-list and the job I never get done, because of a million reasons (I am a genius in inventing reasons for not doing things) cleaning the cellar. And tidying up my hobby staff and........ So a place in this online workshop would come in handy.

Alana

Oh gosh - definitely laundry. It's been a very wet winter here and I have no tumble drier or even central heating which means each load takes about 4 days to dry on a drying rack. My laundry pile hasn't been empty in 4 months!
:)

maja

I haven´t got a To-do-list, I don´t need that, actually. I am not the kind of list-type. I have got plenty of time and when things aren´t done: Who cares? And I love my life like that.

Leonie

Hand washing the delicates! Which is really sad, because some of my favourite clothes can only be hand washed and they sit in piles for a long time and I can't wear them...

Marianna

Hello Benita
and thanks for the offer!
I am also a sahm with 3 small children and plenty of hobbies going around the house. My least favorite thing has to do with picking up all those stuff around the house that everybody else spreads all over (clothes/toys/dishes/etc).
Although our house is well organized and every item has it's own place it seems that the current circumstances -that is children under 3 and a very hasty job for dh- don't really help.
What really disappoints me is that i can't stand doing anything else with the house being so messy and on the other hand getting this job done means for most of the days that there is no time left for anything else.
Oh well, thanks for listening anyway!

PS. I really admire what you're doing with this blog despite the hard time you're having in your personal life. Hope all the best for the future!

Carmen

My least favourite task is ironing. I hate it!!!!!

Polly

Wow this would be amazing! I am a textile design student and I have such busy days dotting from one thing to the next. I guess my least favourite task would be getting round to doing homework - I put it off sooo much until the last minute!

Isabel

My least favourite task is one that I need to do weekly: scrubbing the deep soaker tub. I don't like the idea of getting in the tub as I wash it, so I have to reach back and down to get all the corners clean. Doing this while I was pregnant was even worse. And I am a shower person, so I could do without the tub.

Sara

My basement. It's so overwhelming!

s.patel

i hate doing laundry!! i have to block out a big chunk of time as we are in an apt. building w/ laundry in the basement and there may or may not be any machines free when i get around to doing it. the pile just gets bigger and bigger until i HAVE to do it!

Gosia

This is a lovely give away, Benita, thanks! It feels so good to know that there are souls everywhere that avoid and procrastinate and that I'm not the only one. There are a few of those least favourite items on the to-do list, but bleaching grout on countertops and bathroom floors to keep it white is on the top of my list.

Shauna

What a fab prize! My most dreaded task is the bathroom. The mould is laughing at me, I swear.

Jujudo

My least favourite task is once a year doing the taxes. I HATE it so much. I'm overwhelmed with all the papers, numbers, fatcs, forms and everything that has something to do with taxes. It's not that I'm messy and can't find the things I need: Its just filling out the tax-paper. And in the country where I live it is quite complicated.

Sana

hi,
i'd love to win 'cause i work from home and never seem to have free time: i cannot finish one thing and then have little free time, then start another, i'm stratching my work throughout the day and it's killing me. my least favorite task is the one i know i have to work on right now. oh, and cleaning floors.

Karen

Least favorite task: getting receipts ready for the accountant at tax time. My husband throws everything in a box - and I mean everything - envelopes and unnecessary stuff right along with the needed receipt. UGH!

PICK ME!

Christine

My least favourite task is folding and putting away clothes. Why? Because it never seem to end. When I have finished one mountain of clothes, another have magically acummulated.

Jennifer S.

My least favorite chore is cleaning the bathrooms because I have small boys and they are quite messy and the bathrooms never seem clean. I also hate filing papers.

Shayla

My least favorite task seems to be cleaning the bbq. I absolutely hate doing it so I leave it for extended periods of time. Now it's a huge black sludgy mess in side and my husband is complaining. Mind you, he's not going to clean it for me... It is too expensive just to heave and I use it all of the time so I'm kind of lost as to how I build into my weekly routine - this almost daunting task. It's never ever clean.

Kristi

I don't mind cleaning the toilet, vacuuming is fun, ironing is rare and pleasurable, and cleaning the gutters is something I don't loathe. My worst tasks: returning phone calls (I absolutely despise the phone) and unloading the clean dishes out of the dishwasher. I'd rather wash the sinkful of dirties over and over than unload it. Baffling.

Lily

For the past 11 months, my least favorite task on my to-do list has been clearing out, organizing and digitizing the 18 filing cabinets (for a total of 36 drawers) of files from the past 30 years at my current job. There is no rhyme or reason to the current system, nor any guidelines for what to keep and what to throw out. The task is so monumental that I can't even begin to guess where to start, or how long it will take. Right now, there are files for projects not started, not completed, and completed. There are files containing old news articles for projects that seemed interesting but have long since passed. There are files containing business contacts, some of which are so old they are now deceased. There are files containing old marketing materials, new marketing materials, marketing materials that have never seen the light of day because they were not approved. There are three drawers full of invitations for events that took place 20 years ago, and another drawer full of invitations for events no one from our company attended.

I forgot to mention - we ran out of filing space approximately 13 months ago (just before I started working for the company), so all of our current files are in piles on top of desks, or in temporary file boxes.

My worst nightmare, welcome to it!

Karin

I don't like buying clothes for myself. It has actually become a significant problem because I am having trouble putting an outfit together so I can leave the house! I need to get that under control because by under-investing time and money in this one area, I end up waiting until I have almost nothing to wear before I absolutely have to do something about it.
I am down to two pairs of trousers for fall/winter, and now I am faced with the task of rushing around, trying to find something to fill out my wardrobe.
I can see it not a good way to go about things, but I never seem to have the leisure time to browse around shops.

Catherine

I hate doing dishes (and I have a dishwasher!) and vacuuming. Actually I don't like cleaning pretty much full stop. I love organising but dread the actual daily cleaning schedule.

kelley

mopping. anything that means cleaning the floors really. we bought our first house a year ago and its 125 years old and the floors are currently the original hardwood that was buried under carpet and various types of linoleum. we pulled everything out to hope to find them in decent shape but no luck. theres splinters the size of utility poles and stains and just gross really. trying to take any type of mop to the floor just means snags and cursing. and i could mop twice a day everyday and the wood would still leech out coal dust. all my time and effort feels useless every time so i never want to even bother.

Kara E.

My least favorite task is a toss up between hand washing dishes and hand washing delicate clothing. I need better time management to become motivated to do those tasks right away instead of ignoring them because I'm tired.

Natascha

My least favourite task ist cleaning my home. I work from home and most of the times some other task gets more important than vacuumcleaning.

Frau Mayer

As for my to do list, it's preparing lessons what nerves me most of all. Correcting, teaching, whatever - OK with me. But not preparing!

Ana V.

At the moment housework bother me, I'm tired of being a hausewife. Since the 14 years I do it, now I just want to have time for me

Tamra

The one thing I really dislike is grocery shopping. It's OK when I have a list but I don't have a good method of meal planning. I feel like I'm constantly running to the store for something which takes time away from doing other tasks.

Thanks for the great giveaway! Good luck to all!

Jubis

First of all, thanks for your great blog. I dream about ever becoming as efficient as you are about organizing. It would add another dimension to life :-)

The answer to your question is keeping the apartment tidy in far too little space. And here comes the reason: Husband, I and two children (1 and 4) live in 115 square meeters in Oslo with far from enough storagespace. I have started the process of tossing and selling stuff, but have over the last years been having problems catching up with organizing and making systems that works for us all because of healthissues and a LOT do do everyday with work, kids and all other stuff that fills our lives. Cleaning is the least problem when it is all finally tidy, but how to get everything out of the way?? And KEEP it there? I am originally (before marriage and kids that is) a relatively tidy person, but can hardly breathe these days in the midst of toys, clothes and hubbys mess. He is a great cook, but it looks like something exploded in the kitchen when he is done. How can I make a system that is easy to use and maintain for kids and men? Is it possible to become organized in a small space? Would be forever grateful for inspiration and motivation to attack this mission impossible :-) Desperate greetings from northwest

Katariina

I would just love cleaning, renovating and organizing - if I only had enough time for that. Too many times I start projects but then something comes up and project stays unfinished. At the moment our fireladders are improperly attached because that project was stopped for some reason couple of weeks ago... I would definitely need some help with time management! :)

Carrie

I love to sew but i hate cleaning and organizing my sewing room. I know i'm lucky to have a room dedicated to sewing, but i feel like when i'm in there, i should be sewing, not organizing. Which, of course, leads to time wasted looking for zippers, notions, patterns, etc. I would love to try the time management class!

maria, family creativa

Organizing the big closet upstairs. Since we moved in 2,5 years ago we've just thrown things in there and closed the door, but now it's full and I've really got to do something about it. It's just that there is so MUCH in there and I fear it as I know I have to throw away stuff. But also: after it's done, how do I KEEP it organized? I could definetely need some help to get me started.

Cheryl

Anything that involves working on my home computer. I sit in front of a computer all day at work. So, the last thing I want to do when I get home is spend more time in front of a laptop. Those tasks, like revamping my resume, ordering tires, organizing my digital photos, etc, tend to get pushed to the bottom of the list week after week.

Also, exercise.

Help!!

Katy

Folding laundry. Yuck. I tend to grab wrinkled clean clothes out of the basket for a few days first.

Brooke

There are many least favorite tasks on my list, but the biggest is probably cleaning my "junk" room. There is this one room in my house that is such a mess, and it has been on the list FOREVER. I need some help!

Robin

Decluttering - without a doubt. Mostly because there is SO much of it to do and I'm not very good at it :P

Ginger

Oh, definitely doing the dishes. I don't have a dishwasher and I absolutely hate doing dishes by hand.

Diana Minna

I was going to say housework, but then I saw someone else had written "the basement." My basement! What a sad, bad place. Nora Ephron doesn't like to think about her neck; I don't like to think about my basement (or my neck). In my heart I don't think my basement will ever get sorted/cleaned/organized. But I can dream.

devil

My least favorite task on my to-do list? Grocery shopping. Why? Because it involves leaving the house and dealing with people. I don't mind any household chore that I can do at home alone.

I have a weekly, monthly and yearly household routine that I keep track of in my household notebook. When my day's list is done, I can do what I want (like knit, sew, watch TV, etc).

This system isn't working quite as well for me now that I'm in my forties. I'm getting old and tired. ;)

Emily

Exercising. I like going hiking with friends, or walking the dog, or playing tennis. But I need to start exercising more frequently, which means I can't wait for other people. I need to find time in the day to exercise - maybe Aby could help (she's helped with lots of other things!)

Emily

My least favorite "to do" is cleaning out the kitty litter box. It's so tedious!

Laura

My LEAST favorite task (of many)is PUTTING AWAY the laundry! I can run all the laundry in the washer/dryer, fold it, and there she sits! And with that, I think I better go put away some laundry :)!

Molly

I unfortunately always dislike my work to do list, so I would love housework as an alternative! But out of the housework, I really dislike dusting!

Laurie B

Hello Benita, I was wondering whose little box is that featured in the picture? Can you describe the system that is illustrated...I see little tabs corresponding to the book, wee dots, and a number/lettering system. Care to expand?

Merci,
Laurie

purecloset@hotmail.com

My most dreading task is usually to actually START my day right. I tend to procrastinate by perusing blogs, online shops, drinking coffee, checking emails, Facebook... And looking at the clock go tic-toc... And one more thing: I really do not like making important phone calls like billing inquiries, or banking inquiries where you have to wait on the phone FOREVER!!!!!!!!

Sophie

Jessica

As a high school English teacher, my least favorite (and never-ending) item on my to-do list is grading....

Lisa Flaherty

Paper, Paper, PAPER!!! I hate organizing and filing paper. I swear, it breeds while waiting for me to get to it. We have our own business which has just morphed into 2 separate businesses so now there is even more filing to add to the personal stuff. It seems like nothing can be thrown out and space is becoming a premium.

Jeannine B.

I think my least favorite thing on my to do list would have to be cleaning the bathrooms. I don't know why, but this is always the thing that gets procrastinated the most! Thanks for a chance to win a spot in Aby's class. I love her advice and philosophy and would love to have her input on how to manage my time more effectively!

Maha

My least favorite is cleaning/scrubbing under the kitchen table. With four small kids, it never stays clean for more than half a day.

Denise

The basement, we moved here 2 years ago and it looks like we just arrived!

Jill

I hate organizing. I need too, paperwork is out of control, closets are bursting (do I wear 1/2 of it? No.). Garage is better than it's been, but can't seem to finish it's organization. I love when the organizing is finished because life is so much easier, but I can't seem to get it together. Maybe because I'm a horrible decision maker about the home, and don't want to make a wrong decision about anything, so I make no decisions.

nikkiconure@yahoo.com

My very least favorite activity is paper sorting, basically because I always have a monster pile of mail/school papers/bills/etc somewhere in my kitchen, at it makes me nervous just to look at it!
Nikki

Lara

Ironing. Definitely ironing. It's perpetually on my To Do list since I never get around to it.

erika

Organizing my service porch/laundry room. It is so tedious there are so many things I have to go through organize, relocate, and discard. I haven't been able to reach many things. Ideally I would like to have cleaning supplies, tool box, pantry shelf and of course laundry nicely organized. I know getting this area organized would help me accomplish more things.

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

That photo is by Aby. I'll pass on the question to her and get back to you!

MiaKvack

Olivia

Hey - just wanted to pop in and say hello, and thank you for the inspiration. My husband and I are just starting to pay off a huge amount of credit card debt, and your advice and tips on your blog are really helping me (and so, us) to stay committed to it. Thank you!!

http://twentyfourpoor.blogspot.com

And while I am at it - my least favorite household chore is dusting, because our apartment collects dust as a beloved hobby, I think - and I can never seem to stay on top of it!

Also - thank you for the chance at this giveaway! : )

Lori

I'm not gonna lie, my absolute least favorite thing to do is laundry. It's never ending and I just wish I could outsoursce the job!

Elzi de Voogd

Who doesn't want a place in this class?! We all want to have more fun!

I absolutely hate washing the windows. We live near the sea, so there is is always sand on the windows. It's in the wind and in the rain, and it sticks to the glass. Horrible!

Di

My least favorite task, when it comes to organizing, is filing. I just do not have the space for it, the inclination to do it, nor a good system that makes it easy for me to do (since I know I have to). Please toss my name in the contest.
Thank you.

dibrito@comcast.net

Aria Miller

Judging from the size of the "dust bunnies" around the house I'd say that dusting is at the top of my least-likely-to-do list. I keep my fingers crossed that company doesn't come over in the middle of the day when the layer of dust is most obvious, at least in the evening dim lighting helps to hide the dusty little beasts.

Shelly

The least favorite? How do I choose? Lately it's been putting clean laundry back into the closets/cupboards! We live out of laundry baskets! I've even had to buy extra laundry baskets so everyone has one clean, one dirty laundry basket available! It's ridiculous!

Concha

I loathe bookkeeping and bathroom cleaning... oh yeah. Looks like this workshop would be perfect for me!

Celeste

I despise cleaning the toilet bowl. This is definitely the last on my list. But sorting and organizing the storage room runs a close second. It seems that no matter how I organize everything, what storage bins I buy, or peg board method that I use, it never ceases to become a cluttered mess.

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

Here's Aby's reply:

The basket contains my tickler file which is actually a system I go over (and teach people how to make) in my Paper Clutter workshop. At the front of the basket --- the little orange book --- is my project mini binder which is something I talk about in It's About Time. In front of that is my planner which is a planner pad --- I also talk about this in It's About Time. And all of this stuff is mine --- they're things I use in my office to organize my paper, time and tasks.

Carin

What a great, practical giveaway. My least favourites tasks are a toss up between doing the filingpaperwork,, it seems neverending and I can't keep up, and cleaning the bathroom- the ventilation is horrible so constantly fighting the mould.

Carin

filing/paperwork!

Dana

There are a lot of things on my to do list, and some are starting to become so overwhelming that I keep putting them even more on the back burner - e.g. what should be an enjoyable task like making a photo album of the year. I have not managed that yet since I never think I have enough time to do it, and our oldest is five already. Ouch! I better start! Instead, I don't know where the time goes, since it's not like our house is clean either. Definitely could learn to use some time management tools! Thanks for the chance!

Annady L

I don't mind making meals or doing the dishes, but I never want to put away the food. I always feel like once I put them back in the fridge, they won't come out again except as a giant moldy monster in a couple of months. Eeww...

Marissa

I always dread dealing with paper piles.

Louise

Paper! I hate paper. Papers in my wallet, papers in my purse, on the entry bureau, on my desk, in boxes, in files. I hate papers. Receipts, bill, school documents, articles to read, invitations, all of them even pictures and kids' drawing. I hate papers. What to keep, how to keep them, organize them.

Jo

You should marry a man in the military Annabelle. That's what I did. My hubby's in the Canadian Airforce and these days they wear combats to work so the whole thing's moot. But when we got married he wore a clean pressed shirt everyday. I ironed one ONCE !! he immediately pronounced it not good enough.. and I haven't ironed a shirt.. or anything else for that matter since. ;o)
Jo xx

Jo

Thanks for that Benita because I was going to ask the exact same question
Jo xx

Linda Garcia

I have to call someone about a potential job opportunity and I'm dreading it. I am nervous because I don't expect to like the opportunity, so I've been putting it off. I have a hard time making lots of phone calls because I don't think well on my feet.

Jo

I really struggled with this.. and NOT because I couldn't think of anything.. but because the list was long and bountiful.
I agree with 'Another Jen'.. in fact I could have written her whole comment myself.. even down to the hairdresser thing.
I loved 'Diana Minna's' comment about Nora Ephron's neck. I've never worried about my neck before but I will now.. ;o)
I'm right there with 'Olivia' too on dusting.. because it's sooooo relentless. Dusting is never DONE. You can't tick it off the list, or draw a line through it. That I hate.
But when it comes right down to it the chore I have always hated more than any other is washing cutlery. I don't mind dishes or even pots and pans.. I think because they can be done with big sweeps of the dishcloth...
But cutlery I hate... too fiddly.
It's not quite so bad now I live in Canada because it's normal to have a dishwasher.. and the stainless steel cutley can go in there..
But I have silver forks, & bone handled knives that I use everyday that were handed down to me by my mum.. and they still have to be done by hand. HATE IT !!!
Jo x

Lisa A

Ha, they're all horrid tasks as far as I'm concerned, but bill paying is probably the most tedious for me.

Nan15

Totally agree with Jo.. my husband was in the Air Force as well. I had the same experience.. my ironing was not good enough the first time. So 15 years later, its still his job :)

Nan15

I work from home.. and sadly.. its my office that is always the messiest. Papers everywhere, to do lists, notebooks and notepads everywhere. My husband has a desk in here, so the bills pile up in here as well. The receipts, I will not even get into the where they are. I tend to take care of the rest of the house.. and then just close the door when anyone comes over. I feel like since its my room mostly that I cannot clean it until the rest of the house is done first since everyone else shares those spaces. I am not ever sure if that makes sense but that's how I feel.

brittany

Definitely the least favourite item on my to-do list has to be HOMEWORK. I'm in my last year of university, so there is a ton of work and I never seem to have enough time to get it all done and then I have to put off the things I enjoy doing. I have several strategies: lists & allotting time for specific classes and school projects BUT that never works. There is always more homework than I schedule for so then I get behind on my day and feel down on myself. Another strategy I've tried is procrastinating on the homework so I can do things I actually like to do, like baking and crafts, BUT that doesn't work either because I get very overwhelmed with the work load when it comes time to tackle the homework. I just can't seem to find a balance between school and play.

Heather

Dusting, because it is hard to dust books, cables, and other messy surfaces

Trisha

I love to clean but hate cleaning the shower. No matter what I use or how much I scrub, I cannot get all the mildew out. Damn you mold spores, damn you to hell!

Trish B

My least favorite task is meal planning. Despite my best efforts, most of my meals are still thrown together at the last minute. I don't like grocery shopping either-guess it's connected!

Apps 55753818692 1151621940 0c443eee3b955fe1c740f2086c217511

I have a very very long list of things to do: cleaning, ironing, sorting, DIY (sanding, painting, jardinahe), making appointments, paying bills ... But the thing I hate most is that I reject and tidy the attic. Oh my god! There are so many spiders up there!

Mary Ann

Paying bills - booooring!

(lovely give-away!)

Marnie Joy

Absolutely put off and then eventually dread it even more - cleaning the tub. Bottom of the list of priorities.

Brenda

Thanks for the chance to win.

I would have to say my least favorite task, is making phone calls.
While I love chatting on the phone with family and friends, I hate making business type calls...setting up appointments etc.

kelly

least favorite: turning the compost!

Rebecca

Doing the dishes. With two small kids and a husband who doesn't do them, I find them piling up all day, every day. To keep up, I need to tackle them at least twice a day, and if I let it slide it becomes monumental. And yes, we have a dishwasher, but it's small doesn't handle the bulk of what needs to be washed (plus I can't use the kitchen when it's running). I feel like Sisyphus...

Karin

My least favorite task is definitely doing the dishes. Feels like the BF and I are the last people on earth not to have a dishwasher... Of course I know that it's common here in Swe not to have one, but I still miss the one we had in the US so bad!

Jane

My least favourite thing on my To-Do List is tidying and weeding the backyard. It is basically the dogs domain and it has a lot of conrete and old raised garden beds that are not used due to the lack of light since the trees have grown so tall and the neighbours huge house was built. So I have weeds, heaps of leaf litter and lots of twigs fallen from the 4-5 massive trees. I clean it up and within a couple of weeks it is in need of work again - so always on my list! Aaarggh! And we rent so I am not motivated! Thanks again for a great blog!

Mumin Mamma

Hi Benita!
The least favorite task on your to-do list is organizing my closet. There are so many things and I don't know how.

Joëlle

my least favorite thing to do right now is classifying all my papers. We have just spent the summer into renovations so meaning having to move everything around and now that is finished, i am staring at the box of papers I have piled up and have to go through and ugh, i keep finding the perfect excuse. So discouraged!

Nancy

Ugh! Bathrooms, especially around the toilet. That, and cleaning the soap scum from the shower without resorting to stinky, harsh cleaners.

I don't mind doing smaller tasks that I can quickly cross off my list, but it is the larger tasks that are never really done like weeding and laundry that drag me down. Oh, do pick me, my family can attest to the fact that I really need some time management help!
