My new routine since working Friday’s is to rush home and clean before Wille gets back from school. I leave work at 3 pm on Friday’s and am home at 4 but Wille doesn’t get back until after 5 which gives me a good hour and a half of cleaning. This way I don’t have to do any ON the actual weekend. Yay! Also with just the four of us in the house I only need to clean half as much (!) so I alternate and do the floors and dust and do the upstairs bathroom one week and leave the downstairs bathroom and the basement for the week after.
The fairy lights are up in the oak tree! I love how the light up the very dark evenings we’re having. I’m really loving November because it leads up to December.
Miss Mini with the pink “scarf” I knitted for her. She loves it! It’s so cute, while I’m typing away here she lies next to me on her cushion on the desk and I can pet her while I’m blogging. Our beauty! In this season of giving thanks I say Thank You every day that Mini is still with us.
I have such a hard time saying no to kids selling stuff at the door. This time I the little guy didn’t have any change on him as I was the first house he visited so I ended up buying two boxes of “kokosbollar”.
Off to Finland for work really quickly. Dinner at a city center restaurant, Maya, in the evening, and meetings all day the next day. Did manage a quick visit to the cemetery just after we got to the hotel before the dinner and placed some candles on my dads grave.
Back home again and it’s been really cold both in Finland and here. Sure sign of cold weather is when Bonus snoozes inside all day.
Garland at night. The shadows really are cool but my photo doesn’t really do them justice.
So this weekend I’m meeting Sanna (we were both too busy last weekend) and I hope to see Harry Potter with Wille. I wasn’t sure he’d want to see it with me this time around but rather with a friend. Turns out his ol’ mama is still welcome to watch with him AND he’s seeing it with friends too later :).
