As I was taking photos of the new mattress (which I’m getting more and more used to btw) I also shot some of the whole bedroom. I love this tiny little room.
I moved some art around. These were both up on the navy wall in the living room before. The Orla Kiely pillow used to also be in the living room after a session on the hallway bench. I do that a lot, switch things around. It’s a cheap and easy way to update your home.
I made some new pillow cases from white linen for the long pillows that go on top of the bedspread and added grosgrain ties for closure.
It’s a very simple and relaxing room jus the way I like it.
Ps: I just found out that The Homies are up on AT again. To those who have submitted my blog, thank you so much!

I love your tiny little room too, it's just so light.
BTW seems that all of your walls are white now, or do you have any wall in different colour?

I love that Linen pillow case.. so simple and very stylish.
I love the texture of linen.. as long as it's on something that doesn't ever get touched [and by that I mean crumpled] ;o)

The only walls that are in a different color are the hallway and Willes room which are a warm grey.

I kind of like crumpled when it comes to linen. The reason these are so crisp is that I had to iron them when I sewed them. I actually look forward to when they get crumpled in the next wash, I don't intend to iron them...

It looks very relaxing...! =)

What! No ironing? Shocking!
;)

Feel free to come over any day to do some ironing but don't touch my linen pillowcases!
Förresten, får jag bjuda in mig (och ev Wille) till helgen? Är väldigt sugen på att testa mattan....

It seems that now you need to put everything in white around you , which is beautifull, but that urge of making your world even more white, for me sounds like a purifying thing..I hope you dont mind I am psychoanalysing you...:)

Pure Pleasure, not only to look at but to spend time in there!!! I love how all the elements are carefully placed and selected but with an easiness that makes it both approachable and intimate!

Most of the time you use the verb lay with a direct object as in "When I set the table, I lay out the plates first." (plates being the direct object) The reason it is so tricky is that the past tense of "to lie" is lay. So you would say "Mini lies in the basket" or "Mini lay in the basket yesterday." Here's a more in depth description with some helpful tips to remember: http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/lay-versus-lie.aspx
Hope this helps. Love your blog!

Your bedroom is so serene. I am curious what is on the wall opposite your bed? Do you have a closet there?
Posted by: Elisabeth | January 27, 2011 at 07:34 PM
There is a narrow closet there. Check it out in this post; http://chezlarsson.com/myblog/2010/07/reorganizing-the-bedroom-closet.html

I like the idea of white bedding; it will really pop in that room. And I'm a huge fan of a lighter Grey color. I almost chose that for our dining room. You have a lovely bed and decorate it so lovely...whatever you decide will be great, I'm sure!
