After I showed you the larger door mat a couple of weeks ago I had a couple of comments suggesting rounding off the corner on it. I had thought of it prior and had pictured quite a wide curve but had decided against it. Then someone said the curve didn’t have to be so wide and I hadn’t thought of that!
So I tried a few versions of curves using different size plates and bowls as templates and decided on a mini curve based on Wille’s breakfast grapefruit bowl.
Again using the same bowl as my template I traced around it on the back of the mat with a marker. And how weird does my left hand look in this shot? Thumb less or what?
Cutting this tiny corner bit off from the back actually made a huge difference. It finished the whole thing off much nicer.
Curvelcious! Thank you so much for the suggestion, Christian!

Interesting how such a little detail finishes things off nicely. It looks store bought now

It's always the little things that make the biggest difference! What's the story with that cute yellow lamp off to the side there? ;)

Read about it here http://chezlarsson.com/myblog/2011/02/the-lamp.html. I since added the shade though :)

You never take anything for granted and that ability to revise things constanly is a great way to improve your life I guess! That rug seemed pretty ok but you managed to make it look even better!
