Oh I really need you to visit!

Judith

Such a good idea. I usually force myself to unload the dishwasher if needed while waiting for stuff to happen in the kitchen but hadn't thought to expand my repertoire :)

p.s. Aren't those corn on the cob holders great? That was one of the first things I brought back from the states after moving here. Or can you actually buy them here too?

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

I can't remember where I got mine but it was ages ago and out of the six I originally had there are only three left... I saw some here http://bagarenochkocken.se/grill-barbeque/zyliss-majshallare/ but unfortunately they're not in the cute corn shape.

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

Haha, I usually try to contain myself when visiting people :)

tinajo

Haha, you´re so twisted - but I can so relate! :-D

Judith

Oh, neat site! Yeah, the corn shape is the best but it's good to know there's restocking possibility in the event of a cob emergency :)

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

Twsisted sisters then :)

Hejhej, that is so me. I am always thinking, how I can use all that waiting time. I am never ever bored. And I hate to clean everything at once and losing a whole day or weekend afternoon. I always try to do as much as I can in the evening, between cooking. I only wish, my boyfriend would be the same. Usually I am ready with everything and then have to wait because he still has to clean or do his tax return or whatever, which costs him ages...
What I miss: when I was a teenager I uses to listen to music for hours while doing nothing else. Somehow that is impossible for me now. The only "waiting time", when I can listen to music solely is in the train or subway.
Ha det bra!

isabel

I use to do it that way, too! One bit at a time!!

celia

I never realized they were maybe just a US thing. You can get them at any supermarket here and they're really inexpensive, too.

Jules Means

Love this post because it's so me...I am constantly yanking out the burners on the stove to wipe underneath them, too. :)

Erin

Are those white mini spoons from CB2? I have a set of those, too! They come in handy.

Michelle

That cleaning job would have taken only 10 seconds... if you didn't have to take a picture of every step! :-)

elisa

ahhh. i love to potter about with tasks like that while i'm talking to a friend on the phone. turn around and the place is shinier x

Marianne

Great idea! I will give that a try.

blake @ salt teak & fog

My first thought was the same as some others: please come to my house! :) I read your blog b/c I'm so inspired to be this fastidious... but alas, it doesn't always happen. Oh well! Someday.

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

I got mine in a super market in China but I've since found out that CB2 sell them too. I think mine were juuuust a little cheaper :).

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

A small sacrifice for blogging :)

I am constantly having to do that job because I can't stand crumbs in the drawer. But here's what I can't figure out. If the only things that go in the drawer are freshly cleaned items, then how do the "bleep" crumbs get in there anyway? One of life's many mysteries.

Benita ~ Chez Larsson

Mine's not much of a mystery. I have a chopping board on the counter above the drawer...

Bernadette @ B3HD

There is so much to be said for doing the tiny things while you're waiting around waiting for a pot to boil. I tend to wipe down counters and clean out drawers while waiting too.

kathleen

I just did that exact chore yesterday while waiting for the coffee to brew. :)

Luna

And here I thought no one would blog about such things because I do this too! Then I wonder, how do crumbs get into the cutlery drawer when the cutlery is clean? Haha.

kayla

glad I'm not the only one who does this! :) love your blog btw :)
