I haven’t been very lucky with wallpaper choices in this house. Now there are some really cool new wallpapers out though and I think one of these Arne Jacobsen ones would go well somewhere.
Miss Mini looking through the ivy on the windowsill.
Bonus having a snooze on the living room sofa.
Evening sky across the park.
Thirsty girl.
And here’s another one of Mini.
It’s fall y’all!

Stunning wallpaper Benita. Mini and Bonus look so settled and happy in these photos.
Have a good week xo

I´ve been keeping an eye on that wallpaper too, love the graphic feel to it! :-)

Always knew Arne would be back ;)

Good morning, Benita! Hope you´ve had a creative and enjoyable sat/sun. As always I love to see what pictures
you´ve chosen from your past week and can´t but wonder if it´s not hard to come up with ideas about what to shoot? In my opinion everything is fun and/or interesting to see but I would imagine that it´s not that easy from the other side of the camera.
Some Qs. Are you planning on hanging some art work above SNÖ? Where do the grey flower pots come from? I can´t remember if you´ve mentioned that in the past. And at last, what do you mostly look forward to at this time of year, both in general but also in this particular year?
Have a beautiful day!

Miss Mini is adorable, thanks for sharing the link to the really cool new wallpapers, I have bookmarked it.

Bonus looks so adorable in this picture :D As does Miss Pretty, she's such a cutie!
And I really like your fall flowers. Any chance the grey flower pots are from IKEA? I think I've seen similar ones there but can't remember if they came in square shapes as well.
I do hope the weather in Stockholm is better than in Munich :)

OH! The shot of Mini looking through the ivy is fantastic! And Mr. Bonus is as handsome as ever.
Love the white heather. I usually go with the pinkish/purplish but I think this fall it's time for a change.

Lucky cat, being allowed to sit on the countertop!

Such a wonderful picture of Mini in the ivy! Looks like a ferocious hunter in the jungle..

The flower pots are from IKEA!
The weather was quite nice over the weekend actually but now it's raining...

It is sometimes hard to think of what to shoot. Especially since my life basically consists of being at home or at work or the commute in between. I don't like to use my iPhone to take photos and lost my little point and shoot in a store about six months ago so I sometimes find there's not a whole lot of variation. I try to mix it up a little bit but I think I'll do the project a little differently next year, if I do it.
I'm not planning to hang anything above Snö. I like that it's a blank canvas and that I can do some still life up there so occasionally I might lean something against the wall.
This time of year I look forward to the holidays. I don't plan to do a whole lot of decorating but I look forward to how cozy the month of December is with candles, glögg, lights etc :).

Oh, my feline crash (Bonus) is not only handsome, but also wise like a zen master. He is meditating! Since he is holding his head up, he doesn't look asleep to me. Do cats sleep like that?
Miss Mini - clever girl and looking pretty against the background of the new wall unit.

It's not deep sleep more of a snooze :)

HI Benita, Spoonflower.com just launched their digitally printed decal and wallpaper service. So aside from now being able to upload and print your own, you can also choose from many other unique patterns created by indie designers (like moi, sammyk on Spoonflower). Check it out; it's pricey, but could be well worth it to get what you really want.
Best,
Samarra

Hello,
Just saw that Jannice put up Ypsilon in her dining area in case you haven't seen it. Looks really nice IRL!

How did the lavender end up doing? Were the grey pots their home or do you still have them? I cut mine and put them in the house. I like the white heather!

Hi,
I love the wall paper, how ever I was hoping that you would do something cool with the wall paper you found in your attic if it was me I would do a whole wall in a patchwork, such a fabulous treasure grove of paper.

Love the Kitties. My girls drink like that too -- out of the faucet, if they can get me to turn it on. They also sit in the tub and wait for me so turn it on a trickle. Love all the photos. Glad your house has become your home. Glad to see that Bonus is not wandering as he use to. VickyA.

Just wanted to tell you that I just found your blog a couple of months ago and it has been so inspiring to me! I just finished painting my bedroom that I have been putting off for (literally) years and now feel like I'm on a roll. Thank you so much!

Lovely!

I still have them in the white pots out back but pulled them in under the balcony so the pots won't crack come winter. I'm hoping I can get them to survive until spring.

That's a great idea actually but the thing I don't like about those wallpapers I realized after using some is that they're very matte and have a chalky feel. Also quite difficult to put up compared to the more modern. I AM using them for some smaller projects where the brittle paper is more manageable though :).

That's such a relief!

Your photos are so restful and calming. I could sit and stare at them all day. I especially love the photo of Mini in the ivy; her eye color is punctuated so beautifully!
