Haha, I did water the tree every day but I guess it was old to begin with because it started dropping its needles about three days in. It's one of the prettier trees we've ever had but I was very happy to get rid of it on Christmas Day. I shook it before carrying it outside so I wouldn't have a trail of needles on the way out and that's the result :).

Jag ade hunnit börja fundera på vilket drama som kunde ha utspelats under natten, och började luta åt att Pluto, Piff och Puff följde med granen..
Känner mig rätt nöjd med beslutet att inte ha någon gran inomhus denna jul!

Wow, that was quick. You don't keep the tree until the New Year's Day? In Poland we usually, keep the tree until January 6th, the Epiphany (or the Three King's Day). In some regions, they even keep the tree until February 2nd, which in the Catholic calendar is the day of Presentation of Jesus at the Temple.
Wouldn't mind Mr. Bonus as the Christmas present. He looks mighty handsome, as usual, under the Christmas tree :-).

Tradition over here is to put the tree up the day before Christmas Eve and leave it up until 20 days after. I prefer it the other way around :). I usually keep it up until New Year's but since it was dropping it's needles so badly and I was going away for several days to see my mom Wille and I came to the conclusion to take it out. Wille wasn't keen on watering and sweeping needles throughout the house as Mini and Bonus dragged them around :).

De är fina de där Vällingbygranarna men de är ju inte precis färska. Vår åkte ut den 27:e, och då såg det precis ut som hos dig.

Förra året hade jag också gratisgran men den höll jättemycket bättre. Tror ev att den här blev lite chockad i år med tanke på att den kom direkt in från minus fem till plus 20. Har ju inget ställe där jag gradvis kan bära in den i det här huset. Men egentligen var jag nästan lite tacksam. Jag gillar att ta in julen tidigt och slänga ut den fort :).

Jättefin dukning!
Du får väl satsa på en liten kungsgran nästa år. Det ska inte barra :)
Själv hoppade jag granen, eftersom barnen var hos sin pappa, kom till mig i 2 dagar, och sedan åkte vi bort över jul. Inte ens en utegran blev det. Får bli bättring till nästa år :)

Det var som fasen vad barrigt. Vår har banne mig inte tappat ett barr. Har jag aldrig varit med om. Håller med att det hade känts bättre så att den kan åka ut nu!

Yes, Cecilia is Martin's new girlfriend. I have absolutely no problem with her or that they are together and we have a really good time when we all see each other :). I'm a very unsentimental person and not one to look back, just ahead which helps I guess. Wille likes Cecilia too and I know he's happy that we can all hang out together without it being awkward.

i love how the cats get right in there under the tree! Ours were sitting under that tree within 10 minutes of it going up! So cute!
