Cakes and cocktails...two of my favorite things! Sounds like you and Wille and your lucky friends are having lots of fun. Keep it up.

I used to bartend and like to drink. Quality ingredients do make a difference.

bar rescue is one of my favorite TV shows. a seriously tough guy called jon taffer goes into failing bars all over the country and turns the business around. the three seasons of episodes are online, don't know if you can access from sweden. if not, amazon has them streaming.

what you learn about the bar business, not to mention the underbelly of american life, is unbelievable. among the treasures, many cocktail recipes

I really appreciate it when people take the time to do something well. Wille is going to make a great bartender. I love his artful approach.

Jeanette -Someone else mentioned that show too a while ago. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet but I will, it sounds interesting for sure!

My friend Melissa illustrated a book that sounds right up your alley. It's called Architecture of the Cocktail. A very cool book.

Karen - Cool! That's one for Wille's Christmas stocking!

Kismet is at work! Unbeknownst to me as I found, wandered, discovered and became a fan of your fabuous blog...way over on the other side of these big United States typed my dear friend Karen!

You really have a wonderful eye and spirit, and this illustrator would be flattered beyond words to have The Architecture of the Cocktail end up in Wille's Christmas stocking!

Thanks for the continued inspiration. And thanks, Karen, for the pitch! xo

Melissa - I ordered it from Amazon and can't wait to get it. It looks absolutely beautiful!
