366 Day 44-50

My poor bike waits for me every day after work to take me the last distance home. A couple of days there was too much snow and they hadn’t plowed so I had to walk to the subway. I much prefer riding my bike.

 

At the hair salon. I get my roots done every five weeks or so and of course catch up on all the gossip mags.

 

We are so over the snow and cold. Please can we have some warmer temperatures so the snow will melt?

 

I had an egg blower errand at the craft store during my lunch hour. Egg crafts! Yay!

 

The WC was getting a mini makeover this weekend.

 

Mini and Bonus together in a shot! It doesn’t happen often and usually ends with a fight.

That was week 7 2012!

366: Day 37-43

Wordfeud. Addictive. I'm playing with my friends Sanna and Anne.

 

Mini loves drinking water from the faucet. Sometimes I wonder if she gets enough to drink because I'm not always there to turn it on.

 

I ordered a new poster from Ylva Skarp. Lovely personalized packaging.

 

Om my kitchen counter. Cocktail cherries are my new favorite snack.

It's not just Mini who loves the Old News. 

 

Lovely sunny Sunday. Too bad it shows off a winter's worth of dirty windows with smudges inside and out. Temperatures are rising slightly. It's only a few degrees cold outside and hopefully spring will come quickly this year.

That was week 6, 2012.

366: Day 30-36

Leftovers for dinner on Monday. My latest passion are those sunflower shoots. So sweet and crunchy. Wille likes them too.

Miss Mini. Look at that pink little tongue.

 

7 am on my way to work. I work in the low office building across the road there on the far right.

 

On Friday I skipped lunch and left a little earlier from work instead. Had an appointment for a facial. It felt so good to be tucked in under those cozy blankets and get pampered.

 

Yikes, –17 C (1,4 F)! A little later that night it was –18…

 

Both Mini and Bonus are going nuts right now because the cold temperatures are keeping them inside. They run around like crazy and then find odd spots to sit in when they’re done.

That concludes week 5 of 2012. Can you believe more than a month of the new year has passed already?

366: Day 23-29

I still prep Wille’s breakfast in the mornings. His school days are really long and hard and I want to make sure he eats properly before leaving. Vanilla yoghurt with homemade granola, PB on toast, half a grapefruit, fuet sausage and tea.
 

Bonus is still at home!

 

About once a week I get take out after work. I usually have sushi while Wille prefers Thai and usually something with chicken.

 

Speaking of the Stockholm subway last week and this cool subway car greeted me in the morning on my way to work. They wallpapered the interior with bookcases filled with Piratförlaget books. It felt like being in a library on the move.

 

Good mail day! I was featured in Plaza Interör magazine once and ever since they send me the magazine every month. This was a particularly great issue with loads of inspiration!

 

B-b-b-b-onus! My man!

 

As you can see we still have snow. On the plus side it makes everything a little bit lighter outside but Wille and I really wish it would go away. We want spriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!

366: Day 16-22

This is the grocery store, Coop, where I do most of my shopping during the week. It’s not the greatest store but it’s located really conveniently right next to where I pick my bike up on my way home from work. There is a big nice Coop close to our house in the other direction and that’s where I go if I need a better selection.

 

Solna subway station on my way home from work. A lot of the Stockholm subway stations have art in them and you can even go on free art tours from station to station and learn about it.

 

Hello! Guess what I got?

 

Week day dinner favorite, sausage casserole with garlic bread on the side.

 

On Friday after work I cleaned the whole house. Wille was away and I went from top to bottom.

 

It’s been a mild winter and Saturday’s temperature said –4 degrees centigrade. Almost no snow this winter.

 

But suddenly yesterday it started snowing and I woke up to a winter wonderland. And first signs of spring all at once.
